3200 58 apache
I'm restoring a 58 apache with my son and I was wondering about the front suspension. I found a mustang ii tubular kit for my 58 for around 2,500 from the Jimenezbrothers. Comes with disks, powersteer, airbags, tubular arms, crossmenber, ect. We want our truck to lay in the floor. I was just wondering if it was a good deal or if I should just buy all the parts separate? Also we want the ride as smooth as possible it's gonna be a daily driver for my high school son. If anyone could help guide me in the easier and "cheapest" direction that would be great. Thanks

Re: 3200 58 apache
probably not a terrible price but there's also lots of other kits out there more and less expensive. ..your usually much better off buying as a unit as opposed to piecing it together. .especially if its a first project. ..I've got a flatout crossmember for mine with c4 vette suspension. .

Re: 3200 58 apache
I have a Fatman Fabrications MII new-in-box I never installed because my builder recommended I use the FlatOut system too.

Re: 3200 58 apache
He claims the MII's aren't as robust as the C4 suspensions that were built to potentially support big bock weights and the suspension travel is greater with the C4 too.
I never researched it, but I'm happy to have the Flat Out system. I've never read a single negative review of them, though I HAVE read a few negatives about MII's, albeit the cheaper Helix, eBay, etc systems.
