53 4400 Suspension change
I have a 1953 chevy series 4400 can any one tell me if a 55 GMC 4400 front & rear suspension would be a good swap, better brakes? better choices wheels?
Pros & cons. Thank you |

Re: 53 4400 Suspension change
probably not much improvement for the amount of work involved. ..I would upgrade to at least a later year model with disc brakes and a-arm fronts...

Re: 53 4400 Suspension change
If the 55 is a first series everything should be the same. If it is a second series the axle won't fit as the spring mounts are way too wide or Far apart.
