I don't need this tube, right?
Just making a clarification that I DO NOT need this black tube any longer, correct? I believe that I read this somewhere else, but couldn't find it again.

I was going to simply rubber cap mine since the cover hides the big gaudy connector, but LSX Innovations sells an EGR and purge solenoid block off kit on EBay that allows you to remove the connector for a cleaner look.
