Awesome Xmas Present!
Stumbled across this while looking for instruments for my truck: a wrist watch made to replicate an AD gauge cluster:

Re: Awesome Xmas Present!
Wow nice , even the fuel gauge works. So after a good nights sleep does it read full. Does the temp read 98.6 when healthy . Talk about a smart watch . Hah

Re: Awesome Xmas Present!
Really cool idea! But that is 100% a photoshop. If it wasn't a straight up scam and you actually received a watch from the seller, I bet it would just be a flat image of the gauge on the watch face rather than there actually being a 3D miniature version of the gauge as the photo implies.

They also list watches with faces for just about any interesting rig. You can get your early Mustang loving brother in law a watch with a Mustang speedo on it.

Re: Awesome Xmas Present!
I wouldn't be scared to buy a low buck item from Indonesia. I've bought stuff from there before and while it takes several weeks to show up it always shows up. I've had a lot better luck with them than with women sellers in the Midwest and south on Ebay.
The only thing that bugs me is that on all of those watches the sellers have low feedback numbers. One shows 77 but many have very low numbers. I like that early AD speedometer watch though. On the watch it's self, figure that the innards are about the same as a 20 buck Walmart watch, That said check the band length. I've bought a couple of watches online that had real short bands intended for small wrists. Got to remember to give one or both to to the grandkid the next time I see him.

Re: Awesome Xmas Present!
Interesting: I checked the seller's feedback score and discovered all his sales are 21 cents or less. Seems he's running a feedback mill: you buy "Red Stars" from him for a penny and he gives you 5-star feedback to build your Ebay score.
