Exhaust Design LS conversion

I have 2006 6.0 I am installing in a suburban and a Blazer build I have not started. I have one set of stock exhaust that was on the 6.0 and a set so Sanderson headers that I have mocked up on the Suburban. I want to save the headers for the Blazer and use the stock exhaust on the Suburban.

I would like to coat the stock exhaust with a high temp coating and run them without the heat shields .

Does anyone see anything wrong with the exhaust plan, with the fit or no heat shields.

Re: Exhaust Design LS conversion

Stock truck manifolds usually do not fit without cutting the framerails. F-body, trailblazer SS, or Camaro LS3 are known to fit. Hooker or CPP exhaust manifolds also fit well, but are slightly more expensive

Will the Camaro work without cutting the frame and leaving the heat shields off
