Exhaust Design LS conversion
I have 2006 6.0 I am installing in a suburban and a Blazer build I have not started. I have one set of stock exhaust that was on the 6.0 and a set so Sanderson headers that I have mocked up on the Suburban. I want to save the headers for the Blazer and use the stock exhaust on the Suburban.
I would like to coat the stock exhaust with a high temp coating and run them without the heat shields . Does anyone see anything wrong with the exhaust plan, with the fit or no heat shields.

Re: Exhaust Design LS conversion
Stock truck manifolds usually do not fit without cutting the framerails. F-body, trailblazer SS, or Camaro LS3 are known to fit. Hooker or CPP exhaust manifolds also fit well, but are slightly more expensive

Re: Exhaust Design LS conversion
Will the Camaro work without cutting the frame and leaving the heat shields off
