Anyone Have A Good Rebuildable Q'jet?

For my '72 402. Just need a good rebuildable one. I will bush the throttle shafts so a little slop is okay. Prefer one that is complete.
Thanx!

Hey Smonty..what # is on the carb? Txfirefighter, that carb is too new. I need the divorced choke style. Looks good though
Stingray, how much for the truck one? I can always swap jets and rods from my existing one. That is the only real difference anyway between big and small block ones.
Where did the other poster go??

that was me

I took it off because I don't know if it's for a 350 or a 400, I'm going to check the numbers tomorrow. I didn't want to try and sell before I knew exactly what is was.

Either of these seem like they would be good builders. Both have fairly decent throttle shafts. The small block carb is so complete that it even has the choke rod. The tranny and throttle ball studs are not there. The small block carb I'd let go for 25. The 69 396 truck carb I'd need 75 for. Shipping from up here will cost a bit too!

BFIC rebuilders

You might talk to these guys. I have bought 2 very nice rebuilds from them. They get $35 core for 402 carb.

www.carbsonly.com

ask for Carlos mention that you had talked with previous customer. They seem to want to please their customers, not all parts dealers are that way any more.
