Hubcap question
Did these come in polished from the dealer? I believe they're 67-68 only and I've seen all black but not polished. I like them they're pretty much like the 72 P01 but a a little different.

Re: Hubcap question
If they've been polished someone did a really nice job. I'm getting a redline tire kit should set it off.

Re: Hubcap question
These are also PO1s. They were all polished with flat black paint in the center. You could bolt the center section off a 69-72 and have the same wheel cover. They are the same stamping with the embossed bowtie eliminated. If you look behind some 69-72 2wd PO1s you will see they are actually 4wd fronts with the center section added.
Yes, I have run the '65 GTO hubcaps on deep dish wheels on a 67-72 truck before. I have a set waiting for my '67 GMC project now. Pontiac used that same hubcap through '72

Re: Hubcap question
I will have to get a picture of the hub caps I bought. I could only find three of them, which makes me think that someone snagged one off the tempest I got them from, but its only $40 for a new one online to match it. they're only a 14" hubcap though so I would have to find a way to make them work.

Re: Hubcap question
You must be talking about wheel covers, not hubcaps. The hubcaps fit no matter what the rim diameter is. These are the hubcaps I thought you were talking about

Re: Hubcap question
Yeah. I'd always just heard em called hubcaps no matter what size they are. Here's what I was talking about though

Re: Hubcap question
I like getting new hubcaps. An affordable way to change a look. A lot of cool wheel covers from 60s gm cars that are 14" like those
