Cast Headers

will the headers from a 67-72 small block fit our 60-66 sbc with manual transmission. I have been looking in wrecking yards and for sale sites for stock cast headers for some time and finally found a set of newer style yesterday but want to make sure they will fit. These are the ones I am talkjng about.

Thanks, taclem

Re: Cast Headers

Those exhaust manifolds should work. You'll just have to make sure the exhaust pipe doesn't interfere with the bottom arm of the clutch bellcrank. I'm thinking there should be plenty of room, but just make sure.

Re: Cast Headers

Circle track guys are found if the 1 ton or above vortec 350 exhaust manifolds.

They look alot like standard manifolds but flow a bit better. Especially with the flange opened up.

I've always thought Hooker should do a SBC/BBC versions of their cast manifolds w/their LS swap units being so popular. I had no idea they were actually available so thank for providing the info! Gotta' love that plug clearance w/the 1 5/8 primary & you get the Vette sized outlet. Decent price as well....
