Barrett Jackson Northeast

Spent some time at Mohegan Sun with my dad yesterday and today. Here are a few pics I took of some of the trucks we love.

Last few. A couple aren't Chevy's but were pretty sweet rides.

Re: Barrett Jackson Northeast

There was more I just didn't get a pic of every one. Chevy was well represented there this year.

Beautiful trucks, and I'm not bashing the last two, but it always seems out of proportion to me when the front wheels stick out further than the rear.
I would either put wider wheels in the back, spacers, different back spacing, or get a wider axle.

Re: Barrett Jackson Northeast

Watched the first 4 hours of this auction. Holy crimeney are some of the sellers getting hosed.

Full frame off builds that had to cost 50 or 60 grand selling for 18 grand. A 7500 mile 66 mustang factory V8 4 speed car sold for pennies on the dollar.

Maybe the tide has turned and the collector car market has gone belly up. Good news for buyers but horrible news for the industry.

Re: Barrett Jackson Northeast

I've gone the last 2 years and have watched on TV forever. You can look up what's on the docket for each auction day ahead of time. You can also go back and see what each car sold for in past auctions. The first day of the auction there are many deals to be had as prices go up each successive day. Obviously so does the quality of cars. Very easy to find a very clean, nicely done driver on Thursday for a reasonable amount. Even yesterday the average price for beautiful Camaros, Chevelle's, Nova's was around $29k.
