what have you done to paint F.glass top ?
I need to re-do my top as has faded and peeling. Just wondering what has worked for you to try and get the textured look. bed-liner paint or roll on rust paint, fishing for ideas

Following....I'm curious too. I've seen a lot of people paint the rear along with the rest of the truck, but end up losing the texture part. I really like the factory texture and prefer it over the painted top.

So many guys fill the seams and smooth the top, it's nice to see guys keeping the original look. If you're using rattle can, maybe use one of the textured paints available as a base coat? It might be too much though, make it end up looking like an orange. Keith S may know what the original product was and chime in.

Only one I ever painted wound up smooth & never did look right. It was pretty but didn't have it's personality anymore...

I used a product called Zolatone on the last blazer top I did. It looked like original, I used it inside and out. You have to use a shoots gun to spray it and it it water based so make damn sure it’s 100% dry before top coating it. I believe it comes in white and white/grey not that it matters when you are going to seal and paint over it any way. It comes in gallons and you should practice spraying it to get the texture you want, it’s almost impossible to screw up. They use it in aluminum boats, tons of info if you google it.
