85 tilt steering column

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to swap an 85 tilt column in my 77. My question is can the 85 blinker arm with wiper and cruise controls be swapped out for the slimmer blinker arm with no controls? I also would like to swap the bulkier housing on the 85 for slimmer metal 77 housing. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: 85 tilt steering column

The housing on 77 will not work with the 84 and up tilt.
If you want the option get a tilt 77-80 . I guessing it's been hard to find a 77-80 tilt and cruise. any GM B-body car 73-77 tilt w/cruise or (same option as your does)should work except floor plate seal
control arms wheel have to use yours.
