LS6 intake vac connection help please
I put a LS6 intake on my engine .
Anyone know what is suppose to hook to these 3 vac fittings ? It is the black one on the intake and the one above it on the throttle body I am thinking maybe the throttle body one connects to the valve breather fitting and the black fitting to the PCV valve, I just want to make sure. The black fitting there is only 2 of them, one is pictured and the other is on the back of the intake, I know one is for the brake power booster and the other should be for PCV ? So what is the brass fitting for ? [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] Last edited by my kids toy; 10-11-2018 at 06:17 AM. |

Re: LS6 intake vac connection help please
The fitting on the throttle body goes to the PCV on the valve cover like you thought. The brass one went to the purge solenoid, and the big one on the back is for the brake booster, the smaller one beside it originally went to the HVAC. The other connection on the front of the manifold is for the PCV connections to the rear of both valve covers. LS1's have different valve covers with different fittings on them with a big hose assembly that hooks them together, but if I recall correctly, it's been discontinued. I would just use the one of the TB and plug the other two.
