Automatic column rebuild help.
Hey guys, hoping you can help me out. I have an auto column that I picked up a couple of years ago now. When i got it, it was in pretty rough shape. So I figured I'd rebuild it. You know replace the bearings, switches and throw some paint to it. What could go wrong? Well, I tore it down and everything sat in a box for a year and a half or so. Of course I don't remember how it came apart or even if it had everything in it when I got it. I looked for a couple of days for a diagram to try to reassemble it but seem to only be able to find ones for the 3OTT columns. If anybody has a good schematic or a link to a good thread I'd appreciate it.

Re: Automatic column rebuild help.
Don't know if this helps. This is from my manual for a 70. I think this might be for a manual column also. Here is a link.

Re: Automatic column rebuild help.
Have you looked for a repair manual or factory assembly manual?
Foundthese, they are from 67-72 but are close to ours.
