Upper door seal - what type of adhesive?

Curious what type of adhesive y'all are using on your upper door seals? #2 in the picture:

Yes, it’s an adhesive for rubber. You can get it at your local auto store.

Interesting! That 3M adhesive states that it is yellow, which is the color of the residue on my door frame. I'll give that a try.

I know the stuff I got was black, not yellow. So I went and dug it out. This is what I bought to use, the black.

Which 3M product would you recommend to use on the cab seals (thick ones)? I notice there is a gluey substance leftover when I removed them.

I'd like to add them to all four if possible.

Rock auto list one set as working all four even though it list for 87 GMC 2 door pickup truck............

.............but where ever you decide to get them from you just need to find the proper ones for your vehicle according to their fitment guide where purchased from....
