1964 fender badge hole location
Getting my 1964 c10 painted next weekend and almost forgot to drill the fender badge holes. I searched around and checked the service manual but cant find measurements on where to drill them. Any info would be appreciated.

Re: 1964 fender badge hole location
Your not gonna like this. On one fender I got 6-3/4" from the rear edge of the door, one the other 6-5/8". Center of hole.
From the top - I stuck a credit card (and held it downward pressure) between the cowl and the fender to get the top dimension to the top hole - 4-3/4". Center of hole. 2-3/4" between holes center line. Hope this helps. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer around this forum so...

If you know for sure that they are '64 fenders you could probably find where the holes were filled if you looked at the back side of the fender. You might have to scrape off some crud, paint, undercoating, etc.

Re: 1964 fender badge hole location
I managed to get ahold of a 64 fender for measuring.
Like RocknRod mentioned, 6 5/8 from edge to center of holes. For the other measurement I used a fabric tape measure laid flat on the fender from the top butted up to the upper mount. Higher hole is 6 3/16 down and the other is 8 15/16 on center. Hopefully this info is of some use to someone down the road. ✌️ 👍 |

Re: 1964 fender badge hole location
Mine is mounted on the truck with the cowl installed so I measured it differently from the top.
