1966 Chevy windshield wiper motor upgrade?
Has anyone found a faster more modern windshield wiper motor for our 60s and early 70s trucks? My 66 Burb and 71 Blazer fast speed position is so damn slow. Maybe it’s the wiper transmission gearing that can be improved for a faster speed. Lastly, any improvements on the wiper blades having more pressure on the windshield and better/ beefier blade arms to hold the wiper blades yet look old stock? Thx. I’m relatively new to the old truck club.

Re: 1966 Chevy windshield wiper motor upgrade?
Search Jeep wiper arms. There is a thread here where a guy used the rear wipers from a Jeep Cherokee (I think). It seemed to work out well. I have it saved on my computer and plan on doing this. I'm on my phone or I'd give you the link.

Re: 1966 Chevy windshield wiper motor upgrade?
I have been wondering about this too for sometime. My single speed wiper on my 65 is as slow as a slug.
And I'm going to need new wiper arms too.

Re: 1966 Chevy windshield wiper motor upgrade?
The jeep wiper arms and the factory 2 speed motor work really good. I also use rainx.
