Classic Parts door skins

Can anyone tell me who manufactures the door skins that are sold by Classic Parts? I called them to find out but they wont tell me who makes them. Just trying to do some research before buying a set. The local shop sells Dynacorn but they are almost double the price. The guy at the shop said the Dynacorn stuff is much thicker than other brands which is why they are more expensive. Anyone have input on what brand door skins and bottoms to use?

Re: Classic Parts door skins

I suspect they are all the same. I replaced both mine a few years ago. The were made well. I had to dial in boor gaps but that is to be axpected. I think I have around 100 a piece for them

Re: Classic Parts door skins

I recently used the door skins from Bills Truck shop (in Canada), I think they were Counterpart or KeyParts I can’t recall. Regardless, they were a struggle. I found that the 2 body lines were 3/8” off from my cab so I couldn’t even utilize the whole skin, I had to cut them between the body lines and I also had to run weld down both sides and the bottom to the get a nice gap. I know complete doors are crazy expensive for our trucks but I’d consider it next go round.

After welding in

You’re pretty close to Scott’s super trucks, maybe he sells a different brand?

Re: Classic Parts door skins

I got mine from LMC trucks no problems I had to work the gaps but that’s these old trucks not the skins
