Decoding 1969 350ci. question
I am having a hard time decoding this block stamp. I thought I figured it out and then I got stuck.
VIII5WK I know the V means Flint I know the WK is the 350ci. 255 hp 4 bolt. It may look like I typed three "ones" but they are Capitol "i's"! The second picture is the casting number which I already decoded. This is the original engine that came out of my son's 69. 3rd picture. This is what we have in there right now. 4th & 5th picture. Can anyone shed some light on the tripple "i's"? Thank you! Jason

Quote:
Going with 64cc, 2.02/1.60 for the build. Probably going to put the original block back in the truck when its completed.

Nice clean motor!
For now! Without a pcv system you’ll spring an oil leak and then you’ll have a mess. |

It has a large vent on the passenger side valve cover.

Re: Decoding 1969 350ci. question
Thank you Dale. My son is coming home to visit tomorrow from Little Rock AFB. He will be here for a week or 2 before he has to report to his next Base assignment in Texas at Dyess AFB. PM me your number and we can bring the truck by while he is here if you would like to see it!
Jason
