Missing plastic clip on ecu

Trying to trouble shoot an injector issue and was wondering if not having one of the plastic clips that goes on the end of the wiring harness into the ecu could be causing problems.

Re: Missing plastic clip on ecu

If you are talking about one of the color coded peices that hold the terminals in place. I could see that causing an issue if one of the terminals is not engaging properly, or being pushed back out of the connector body.
