The problem with 26 year old electrical systems...
I have a question for all electricians in the forums or even active restorer.
My 1977 c10 Custom Deluxe has lost its dash lights. All the gauges still work. But none of the lights come on. Lights meaning the illumination lights, oil and brake lights still come on. Very hard to drive at night. lol I have to take a flash light every where. Anywho can some one give me some insight into this. I needeth some help. Thank you and oh BTW: Happy Thanksgiving.

first thing is to make sure the bulbs are good and the fuse for dash lights is good after that youll need to check the dash connection to the board and the board itself it has a printed cirtcut board that ya cvan get at anyof the catalog companies

unlike the problems I am having with mine , your problem is a classic for just a bad headlight switch. easy to replace. DAVE

I have a couple bulbs in my dash that work on and off and most of them work all the time, I replaced the bulbs and they still do it, I think the sockets might be corroded in my or the circuit behind them messed up.

Destructo , one the bulbs that do that , remove the whole socket/bulb again and bend the tabs forward on the sockets so that they make stronger contact wit the Circuit board. DAVE

I will go with the switch is the problem the circuit board is fine.
But I can not figure out how to get the switch out. Can some one like scan a page of the thier shop manual to show me how. OR some one who has time to sit down and write a very detailed manner in wich to replace the switch. Thank You in Advance Stephen Newman
