Just sayin Hi

Hello!
Another FNG here. Just sayin hi to all.
Been lurkin and learnin for some time. Have a brake problem on a project so i posted in the suspension forum.
Thought i would say in here cause i am working on a 58 sb panel project too.
Can't have too many projects! i got empty floor space in the shop! :p

Thanks for the welcome! I'll try to get some pics posted of the panel one of these days. working on the steering system at present. we kinda customized the front end on it!:p

HEY DUBIE
Thanks for the welcome.
got some pics of the panel when i first got it last summer and some progress pics. just got to figger out how to post em.
we clipped the front end with a 67 truck clip. we wanted to stay with truck stuff as much as possible. we took 2" out of the crossmember for drop and used caddy upper a-arms for cam adjustment. using toyota 4x4 steering box to compensate with drop. found a caddy tilt/ telescoping non ign column to use.

THANKS FOR THE WELCOME ! MY BUDDY'S GIRL FRIEND JUST SUPRISED HIM WITH A 58 5 TON FLATBED FOR CHRISTMAS! RUNS GREAT BUT HAS A CRACK ALONG THE OUTSIDE OF THE BLOCK ON THE DRIVERS SIDE! SO WE ARE CONTEMPLATING WHAT TO REPLACE IT WITH!
