Does anyone run a blazer with hard top without glass?
Was thinking about this yesterday as I baked herein CA in my 1975 with the top off. I was thinking i should get a softtopper and run it in safari mode to avoid frying then oi thought "what if I took the glass OUT of the hard top entirely and rolled the gate window down?
Wouldn't that be just like running a softtopper in Safari mode with hew added extra structural stability of having the top fitted? has anyone done this and does it cause exhaust fume issue like having the tailgate window rolled down? |

Remember that the glass is part of the structure of the top, but seems like you could do that. Do you have the sliding side glass? Seems like opening those up fully and rolling the back glass gets you most of the way there.

No I just have the one piece glass in each side. I Have a double skin top and it's pretty structurally solid, plus i already have a roll bar from a safety perspective. alternatively I COULD just fit the softtopper that I actually have in its box still in the garage. if i did that it leads to changing tailgates and so on...
