New from Germany

Hallo all

My name is Arnd and I am from Germany. I am working now for over 16 years as a car mechanic in a small garage. We concentrate on engine overhauling and especially on American cars. While I was watching through the internet I found this forum and it was amazing to read all about your grate builds.
From the time I was a child I loved American cars from the 50es and 60es. I like the special shape and their appearance. The idea to have a every day drive truck with modern technique but with the old shape is perfect.
So long
Arnd

I live around Los Angeles, and work all over the LA area. This place is beyond crazy.

But like he said most others are pretty cool.

Re: New from Germany

Welcome to our community. It would be nice if you pick the section of the forum appropriate for the year and type of truck you have, and start a post and include many pictures of your truck and tell us the story (If you have a truck already). We love to read about it and see pictures, and discuss enthusiastically. If you need any help or advice with the forum and how to do things such as posting pictures, or with the truck mechanical things, electric things, restoration, dealing with rust, etc. just ask and people here love to give their opinions.

Re: New from Germany

Welcome! I am still a very new guy here as well but the one thing I appreciate about this site is most are on board for almost any type of build. From the "get it running" old rusty everyday driver to the full on custom builds and everything in between.

We all love the trucks and every one back on the road in one form or the other is a win.

Re: New from Germany

Hallo all

Thanks a lot for that grate welcome words. It is grate to find people who share the same interest especially these old American trucks. Here is the treat to my actual project “Hook” the rusty 1950 GMC.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=793803

And this is my truck I am using nearly every day, a 1987 s10 short bed on a mid 90es frame and drive train.

So long Arnd
