Re: Hotchkis Forum Discount?
Did you try contacting them directly? I recently contacted an older forum sponser and while they did not offer forum discounts any more, free shipping was offered.

Re: Hotchkis Forum Discount?
I will share my recent Hotchkis experience. I ordered the max swivel bushing kit for my C10 trailing arms through summit on 9/20/19. It said if ordered today, they will ship within a month, no big deal, I don't need them for at least two more months. I ordered and the expected ship date passed, so I contacted summit on 10/25/19, new expected ship date 11/7/19, this went on for quite a few times with the date being pushed out time and time again. I decided to just engage Hotchkis directly on 1/14/20. Hotchkis moved from CA to NC in the same time frame I ordered so I expected a delay. After getting in touch with Hotchkis they said the bearings is what they were waiting on. I received the item on 2/7/20, and Summit notified me the day of delivery, 2/7/20 that they had shipped, which was pointless. Probably the biggest annoyance is when I opened the box, the bearings that were the huge holdup had 12/9/2019 stamped on them. Just a rant and who cares honestly, but to me, somebody was full of crap and a product I ordered in advance became a holdup on my end. I don't know what the lesson learned is, but you might go directly through Hotchkis so they will talk to you if an issue should arise...I feel I got the cold shoulder as it was suggested to have summit contact them directly, even though I had the email of the Hotchkis customer service team. Nice product however, and easy install. Rant Over!!

Re: Hotchkis Forum Discount?
I too ordered a Hotchkis part through Summit. It was on backorder but that was OK. I noticed the next day they had charged my credit card so I called Summit to see if had already shipped. No, it was probably a month away but it was their "policy" to charge right away. I cancelled the order right there based on principle. It took them 2 weeks to return my money but only an hour to take it. That was my last order to Summit.
I did get the Hotchkis part immediately from someone who had it in stock. |
