Wheels for 64 fleetside ?
I'm looking at a set of wheels for my truck.
Presently running 215/70/15 front 275/60/15 rear Thinking about going with : 18x8 front 4.5 in backspace 18x9 rear 5.25 in backspace Disc brakes up front 5 lug conversion rear. Any comments on wheel size and tire size would be appreciated Any fitment issues??? Last edited by kens65fb; 02-28-2020 at 04:11 PM. Reason: ... |

245/45 & 295/45 Nitto 555, so I could get a 28.5 inch rear tire. There is a 40 profile and a 285

Re: Wheels for 64 fleetside ?
Do you have a photo of the way your truck looks like right now? Just curious how it looks.
I'm running 225/70-15's on a 6" wheel, front and rear and I'm thinking of running something more beefy in the rear. |

Re: Wheels for 64 fleetside ?
The front will be close. A lot depends on the tire. The rear about all you can use is 4" of back spacing depending on the tire section width with out wider wheel wells. I always recommend the use of a wheel back pace tool on the truck the wheels are going on and use the tire you want to run. Lots of times you can buy used tires cheap in the size you want to run for testing fit. A tool like this can save you a lot of money of wheels. https://www.amazon.com/Ingenuity-Fab...87016726&psc=1
