64 C10 Wiper Motor Removal
I am looking for some advice on how to separate my wiper motor from the wiper transmission arm s-shaped lever attached to the wiper motor threads. I was trying to follow a YouTube video to get the motor off.
See my attached picture where the black electric tape is. I removed the bolt that sits on the s-shaped lever. However the lever will not budge. I did spray WD-40 around the entire area and let it sit overnight thinking that might help. I evidently am not approaching things correctly. I naively removed, under the dash, the three bolts holding the wiper motor. I thought that perhaps the motor would slide off the lever once the bolts were removed. That did not happen. So I have bolted the motor back up thinking I could pry that s-shaped lever off. I figured I'd better stop and consult on here. The 4 bolts that hold the wiper transmission arms on have been removed. Let me know if anyone has some tips to share please. Edward |

It's pretty straight forward, here's what the manual has to say about it ...
