What is this part?

This came in a bunch of parts for my 1972 CST. Looks like it fits the inside bottom of the tailgate. Did Blazer tailgates ever have carpet? Thanks in advance.

doesn't look like anything factory to me.

That might be a carpet hold down for 73 up but I’m not positive.

That is what it seems to be Blazerowner thank you. Weird thing is it fits perfectly on the bottom of the tailgate on my 72. Did later Blazers have carpet on the tailgate?

Not any I have ever seen. But you never know or maybe custom made?
