Camaro exhaust manifold question

Hey all, picked up a set of 2010 Camaro exhaust manifolds for my 72 K10 6.0
I am installing a 700R4 soon to replace the turbo 350. So my plan is to slide the engine forward 2" as the tranny is 2" longer than the TH350. But the current stock truck manifolds won't allow it as they contact the frame.
Question is where did you get the flanges from to match the 2010 Camaro manifolds? Did you use a ball flange and a donut gasket? Thanks

Re: Camaro exhaust manifold question

I think the set I have still has the tailpipes bolted to the manifolds and cut off behind the 02 sensors..i think they've got donuts

Re: Camaro exhaust manifold question

I cut the flanges off for our one truck and extend them with some pipe than use V bands

Re: Camaro exhaust manifold question

I went through the same thing your going through. I’d first try a wrecking yard, exhaust/speed shop to see if they have any stock Camaro systems from manifolds back Second option try eBay, I found mine from a page I follow on FB.

Re: Camaro exhaust manifold question

Wow...I'd check with a muffler shop before I'd buy those..
