Dynacorn panel not fitting right
Hi everyone,
Trying to replace the pillar kick panel on my 55-1/2 3100. I bought the Dynacorn #1105X and 1105W and they fit perfectly until it goes to the bottom where it should flair out. The end is exposed. Something isn't right. See the pictures. I bought them from NPD, their part # is K-16524-55BL, and BR. Has anyone run into this? Am I missing something? Were any of the 55-1/2 still have any 54 body sections? Here is a link to all the photos I took. https://photos.app.goo.gl/UYC4MpG4G1bJsipu5 |

Re: Dynacorn panel not fitting right
Hard to tell by your picks,But,i would have to say by looking the bottom piece that the front fender bolts to,(has hole on the side for bottom fender bolt to bolt to and is at bottom of the new piece) looks to me that maybe from all your rust out it got "pushed" upwards, it looks to me that it needs to come down for the new piece you have to fit.
Did you by chance have the cab sitting by itself on the floor and maybe that piece got tweeked and pushed up? I only say this as my 58 did! Good luck and wishing you the best on it! Allen. Got to thinking you might hold the front fender up to the cab if you can and see if the lower fender attachment point lines up, that would tell you if if that bracket needs to come down. Hope this helps you! |

Re: Dynacorn panel not fitting right
There is also an Inner piece at the bottom i think you are missing that you might be needing to, they do offer that piece as well
and if i can find a pick i will try to pass on to you. hopefully some one might post a pic of it for you also. |
