Hickey roof rack
I found this Hickey roof rack on a top for sale. The seller told me that he bought the top for the sliding side windows. He wanted to put them in his 74 blazer top which had fixed side windows. He says he changed direction and ended up having to sell his 74 blazer before he swapped the windows.
He told me that the top with the sliding windows was for a second generation blazer, but he didn’t know what year(s). It looks like it was for a model that was not full convertible. I bought the top for the rack only, thinking it might fit my 70 K5. After reading a few posts, it seems that there is a difference in the profiles and probably won’t fit. I do want to find a 73-75 K5 eventually, but if I needed to sell this thing in the meantime, what year would it fit based on the pictures I took. Do all 73-91 Blazers share the same profile/contour? Thanks -Vinnie |

Re: Hickey roof rack
It sure wasn’t easy to get out of the dude’s backyard. It was a little mission. Thanks for the info on fitment for those years.
