66 C10 to 6.0 and 4l80E
I am finally at the point of swapping my 66 to a 6.0 and 4l80E. I am wondering if I would be better off doing the subframe swap and then doing the LS conversion? I will use the CTSV pan and Trailblazer exhaust manifolds. Any opinions are appreciated.

Re: 66 C10 to 6.0 and 4l80E
Our trucks have full frames. I assume you mean the front cross member? If you are going to get one then talk to the manufacturer first since many need specific pans and/or exhaust set ups. Some pans (like Fbody) work with stock cross members and some of the aftermarket ones as well.
After tearing into my truck I now recommend most people do one upgrade at a time to keep it from getting out of hand and discouraged but if you are used to doing lots of work all at once then have at it!
