Trique mfg. Altman Easy Latch!

My truck is rusty and the doors have always been horrible. Ive tried to adjust them and its hopeless. Everything I read about new stock latches seemed like it wouldn't really help so after seeing a few nice trucks with these I thought maybe they would help out my sad saggy doors.

I was a little weary of dropin 375 on some latches but I was desperate. I went ahead and replaced my hinge pins and bushings to make sure that was covered. After the hinge pins the driver door actually closed worse so I wasn't hopeful these latches would really make that much difference.

I searched the forums and didnt find a lot of info about them. I did watch a few youtubes and they seemed like it might be promising.

The install went pretty smooth and the instructions were decent. Didnt have to modify my rod or anything, cut the hole out and drill holes was pretty much it. To my surprise these are amazing. The doors close completely with a good push and nice click of the latch. They fit tighter than ever with no rattle. Its really pretty remarkable how much of an improvement they are. For my crusty truck they are amazing and probably one of my favorite upgrades so far.

5 stars, enjoy the pics.

Thanks for the review. I may do that some day. Mine are still pretty decent but it looks like a fun weekend project. Maybe next time I got 375 bucks to throw at the truck, Ill go for it. It would be worth it to me for the "no rattles" part alone.

They certainly make closing the doors with a one finger push easy.

I just found out about these and since i am in the complete rebuild of the truck, i am getting these. I have found them for $210.00 from Summit, so that price i can stomach. Thanks for the review!

Be careful, that set is for shaved door handles. The normal door handle set at summit is $350.

I would love to do this, but just can't stomach the price right now.

Looks like something that could be cut from many modern cars at the yard. Probably ten bucks a side.

I am interested in doing those latches also. I read that you cant lock them by pushing the handle forward anymore. Is that how yours are?
