felpro gasket installation! This is stupid..
Ok, here is the stupid question of the day.
THe felpro gaskets have blue striped printing on one side, and none on the other. Does it matter which side is facing up or down? thanks for humbling me! Thanks Ron

The blue stripes mean nothing. Sometimes the stripes on oil pan gaskets end up one side showing the stripes & the other side not. Depending on the type of engine, the head gaskets may or may not be stamped in small lettering "this side up" or "top". If not marked, you can USUALLY put them on either way- check & make sure all ports & holes line up.
Hope this helps |

as long as holes line up dont sweat it stick it on any way ( as long as no specific instructions say install a certain way)

That's not a stupid question at all. It is better to ask than to guess at something and then screw it up. Actually, I put on some felpro gaskets on about two months ago and I think there might have been something about putting them on a certain way. But I read that after I installed them! HA! Like the other guys said, just line em up good.
