Fuel filter leak?
Sorry for the ignorance, guys. Is this my fuel filter? It’s leaking like mad. Couldn’t figure out why I was dying from fumes on last night’s cruise and this morning’s puddle clued me in.

Re: Fuel filter leak?
That's an aftermarket filter that should be addressed. Never seen one like that though so I can't be of technical help there.

Re: Fuel filter leak?
That appears to be a fuel filter (not stock, I think), and it shouldn't be on the suction side of the pump unless it was the factory one, which is pretty big, IIRC. I'd just take it out and replace the flex line while I was in there. There should be a filter in the carburetor, unless you have an Edelbrock (I suspect this because that other item appears to be a pressure regulator).

Re: Fuel filter leak?
Replace with a one piece filter. Please don't use the 3 piece glass filter from your favorite auto parts store. They are fire starters. Just get a regular one-piece plastic unit and call it a day.
