Add a Leaf ?
A few years ago, I bought a set of "add a leaf" spring to add to my 1990 GMC 2500 Suburban. As luck would have it, I cannot find the pack of installation hardware that came with the kit !! What hardware will I need to finally install these babies ? I notice that when I tow my boat, the rear of the truck goes way down and I am hoping adding these will help that.

Re: Add a Leaf ?
I bought an add-a-leaf kit for a truck when I was 16, Trail Master IIRC. It didn't come with any hardware. You had to disassemble your spring pack, put the leaf somewhere in the middle, and reassemble. Much stiffer ride but it worked.

Re: Add a Leaf ?
Longer center pins . Longer u-bolts . Knowing how to work on leaf spring packs or you can get hurt .
Add-a-leafs help yes but ride stiffer when not needed . I would do timbren style bump stops . Only come in when needed .
