1965 GMC 1500 dash switches
http://www.flickr.com/photos/hudsond...in/dateposted-
I'm getting my dad's old 1965 GMC 1500 back on the road, and have a question about how the dash controls were laid out from the factory: What is supposed to occupy the hole to the right of the ignition switch? The smaller hole to the right of the ignition switch may have been drilled for a speaker selection switch, but if it is original, what is supposed to go in that location? Thanks in advance. |

Re: 1965 GMC 1500 dash switches
Usually the hole to the right is a cigar/cigarette lighter. No other holes to the right of the ignition on my 64 GMC.
Welcome to the board....pictures are always a must! |

Thanks for the quick reply Dice.
I'm still trying to figure out how to get a picture to display in a post. |

Re: 1965 GMC 1500 dash switches
You are welcome... here is a link on how to post pictures...
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=627506 Basically when you are typing a new response or new thread click on "Go advanced", then click on "manage attachments" find your picture and upload it...has to be under 100kb...I usually resize mine on the laptop first then attach. Hope that helps! |
