61 apache 30 where can I get these hubcaps?! - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a 61 Apache 30 with a 9 foot (yes, that is correct- 2 were made that year) stepside. It was in several movies, one of which is "The Water is Wide" (story of Pat Conroy and the Gullah schoolchildren). Anyway, any idea where I can get 2 more of these 8 lug hubcaps (they are a bit like a pyramid, or .... well I won't say here what they really look like!).

Hershey's kiss is kind of what the hubcaps look like...

I do not know of any C20-C30 hubcaps that are being reproduced. If you have some local junkyards, you could check there or Ebay. Another option is to become a supporting member of this site so that you can post a WTB add in the classifieds.

Any 1T step side will have a 9 foot bed, IIRC. I have no idea about where you would find those hub caps. There is a hub cap store not far from my MiL's house. Next time I go by there, if I remember, I'll stop in to see if they have any. It's unlikely, given the age, but you never know...I'll let you know, if I do stop by. They were painted white when new, yes?

I think you are remembering correctly. I pulled apart a 9 foot step bed from a 65 C30 this weekend

i had no idea! Well my cousin was wrong then- unfortunately cancer got him a few years back. If you have time and are willing to check- please. They were white once. THANK YOU! Scott

I think Wheel Vintiques has them. Or you can contact Aspen truck parts in Arizona, they might have used units.

They are the same hubcaps back to '57. They show up on EBay from time to time but are larger diameter than caps used on 1/2 tons.
