Not sure if its available or reproduced but it should be held on with screws- look inside the pockets and there should be two or three screws holding it on.

It’s not reproduced. I have seen a few on eBay from time to time, but they all look the same. Some people say leave them off, because it’s a place to trap moisture and will rust. I do have a friend that took his off and soaked them, to clean them and get them back to being pliable again, so he reused his.

Cut down on Wind noise. And it’s only on the higher grade models. Most, if not all base model trucks didn’t get it.

That is just a photo I found online. My base model does not have the foam. I thought maybe someone had taken it off. I don't see any holes in the metal for screws to go in for fastening. What RPO option was this?

Probably part of a high-end trim package like Silverado or Sierra Classic. Probably not its own code for those foam pieces.

As LT7A said, it’s probably just part of a trim package.

These were not on my Custom Deluxe when I got it. I added them during resto in a hope that they would cut down on the wind noise. I never drove mine without them so I can't say whether they work or not.

Did you have to drill holes in your A pillar to mount the foam?

Yes, there were no holes or markings on my truck. Used the foams as a guide to install screws.

Also, I bought mine from someone on the board as I could not find them reproduced.

They're 81-86. I wonder what the difference is from the earlier models. My 74 C20 has them. Wouldn't mind getting replacements.
