Lots of NP205 New Process 205 Parts

I'm cleaning up the garage, and decided to see if there's any interest in my NP205 spare parts. All parts are used.

Buyer to pay shipping costs. I work 40-60 hrs a week, so it might take me a couple days to get the parts shipped. Most items will fit in a USPS flat rate box, and I will combine shipping when possible.

Prices will probably seem high, but these are genuine New Process parts and are getting hard to find.

Please post interest in item(s) on the thread so I'll have a clear order to follow in case there's multiple people interested in the same item. We'll continue with PM's afterwards.

Earliest buyers get choice of part(s) if I have multiple of the same item.

Paypal or US Postal money order for payment.
PayPal fees are included, but NOT shipping fees.
If paying with a Postal money order, I'll reduce the price by the PayPal fees (2.9% plus $0.30).

I'm not in need of any trades, but will consider '58-59 GMC specific parts, '55-59 Chevy/GMC parts, or '60-66 Chevy/GMC parts or '55-57 Chevy car/wagon parts depending what you have.

Additional pics available. The pics are reduced to meet the max size allowed on the forum, and don't show as much detail. I can email or text higher resolution pics to someone after they post interest in a part.

At this time, I don't have any TH400 large bore cases, 32 spline input gears, or TH400 adapters; it's been over 5 years since I've seen a 205 in the wrecking yard so I don't think I'll stumble across any, but will post if I do.

Parts List (I'll list the bulk of it) I might not list everything, so if there's a specific part(s) you need feel free to ask.

Re: Lots of NP205 New Process 205 Parts

I will take a greaseable pivot bolt, and the lower left shift knob with the white around the black letters.

Do you happen to have any 71 or 72 4 Speed 4x4 shift handles?

I'll mark you down for the pivot bolt, but will let you decide on the knob:
The threads are 3/8-24 (fine) instead of the more common (1973+) 7/16-20 (fine).
I don't remember if I removed it from a GM truck or if it was from a Dodge, International or Furd, but it could have been any of them.

UPDATE: it appears this style was used on Furd (NP205 & Dana 24) from 1959-77.

The knob has been repainted at some point (the white looks more cream color) and done rather poorly in my opinion. The knob has a fair bit of wear on it as well, and a small chunk removed on the bottom where it threads to the shifter.

If you're still interested I'd take $10 for it, and it would ship at no additional cost with the bolt.

I found the one shifter I have for a 4-speed, but I believe I removed it from a 1973+ 4x4 (larger dia then the earlier ones?). I could be wrong (I haven't messed with this stuff in years) so if there's a quick way to ID I'll do my best to confirm.

I'm in on the knob. The 4 speed shifter looks like an 80s square body one nut I'm not certain.

If you have another one of those above shifter knobs I would be interested. Dieselwrencher beat me to it.

I don't believe I do, but I am still sorting thru stuff (I believe I've pretty much uncovered all the 205 stuff, unless I have a box I forgot about) as I clean and organize. If I happen to dig one up I'll let you know.

I've added a pic of the different sizes of S-links I have. I believe I've arranged them in order (Lt to Rt) from oldest to newest, but I don't know the exact year breakdown.
A - I know is pre 1973, and probably pre 1971, but I'm not sure
B - is somewhere around 1971, 72 or 73 to about mid-late 70's?
C - is somewhere in the late 70's or early 80's to about mid 80's?
D - is somewhere around mid to late 80's till they stopped using the 205? (It has a plastic bushing type connector on the TC side of the link.

Ford - unknown year but most likely '77 or older. It is definitely Ford since it is made for the driver's side drop TC.

I used to know all this stuff without thought, but it's been 10+ years and unfortunately I don't know the details like I used to.

I'd recommend "B" for your '71, it's probably the correct one, and the same length as "A" if it's not the correct one. It is also stronger than the flat plate style (A is actually 3 separate pieces, with the studs pressed into the plate, and I have one that has a stud missing.

"A" does have it's place for an exact restoration, for the early models that used it.

I'll follow up with a PM to make sure you get the one you want.

Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Lots of NP205 New Process 205 Parts

Shifter package #1

Includes:
Cast style grease-able shifter (was chrome but needs to be rechromed or painted)
Used shift knob, with the 4 wheels and box for a transfer case on it.

Non grease-able shifter pivot bolt
Used shifter bolt washer
New shifter bolt wavy washer (it's made in China, and the closest match I've found so far)

Your choice of S-Link (A, B, C or D) see post above
With new washers and new curved/spring washers (spring washers are made in US and seem to be a perfect match)

Shift rail connecting bracket/plate
Shift rail pins, and correct wire clips

Metal shifter ring. It's been repainted, some might run it like it is, and some might repaint.
Aluminum shifter location plate. It's been repainted, some might run it like it is, and some might repaint.

Package deal $225 shipped.

Re: Lots of NP205 New Process 205 Parts

I had to pull away from hobbies to help my dad deal with some health issues.
I oddly enough just got back into selling parts. In in effort to move more parts I started listing on eBay but checked back here tonight. I renewed my subscription for a month to let everyone know what's going, and get back to the inquiries posted.
Thanks Dan

Sorry, I had not renewed my paid subscription (to sell parts) while I was helping my dad deal with health issues, so my inbox was full.

If you are still interested I do have a couple and can sell them cheaper on here than eBay, and use the extra money to support this site.

Let me dig them out tomorrow and I'll get back to you in a PM.

Thanks,
Dan

Here is a 27 spline input gear I have. As mentioned it has good teeth, but some pitting on the bearing surface.

Thanks,

Interested in the divorced TC, have the input, retainer etc to go with it? 1350 or 1450? And the usual deal killer, cost to ship to 98022.

Thanks

I currently have the Bare Dodge divorced case with the correct 32 spline input shaft and input bearing retainer listed on eBay. I had to go high on the list price ($595 plus shipping), the way eBay is nowadays, I have to pay a final fee on the entire total (sell price, shipping, and sales tax). I can go cheaper on here but I don't know what the fee to end the listing is.

I have the Bare divorced International case that's not listed on eBay yet, that I can also sell with the correct 32 spline input shaft and bearing retainer if you don't have a preference. They are both passenger side drop, the mounting bolt location is the main difference.

I have a complete Dodge divorced 205 that I've been saving for a project, but would consider selling it. Shipping would probably be the deal breaker though. The bare cases are $75-$175 to ship in the lower 48, the complete case would have to go freight and I don't have an account like a lot of people so it's not going to be cheap.

These divorced cases came with the Dodge style yokes that use the straps not u-bolts and I don't think they are as strong. I'll have to check what size they are but probably 1310, maybe 1350.

I'll work on the shipping quote, but it will only be a ballpark without the full address. You can also check the shipping price on the eBay listing to get an exact number.

I'll send you a PM after work tomorrow.

Thanks,
Dan

Hi, sorry I do not have for the 203, only the 205. I do still have a couple of the aluminum shift pattern plates that go beside the shifter boot under the retaining ring.

Thanks,
Dan
