Best way to add 2"-3" lift on my '66 GMC 2wd

I am wanting to lift my '66 just a couple of inches and was wondering what is the best way to do this? Would the spring spacers with ball joint spacers on the front and lift shackles/blocks in back be the way to go? A frame swap with a 4x4 is what I'd really like to do, but I am struggling with finding something at this time.

Do they make a body lift kit for the '63-'66 Chevy GMC pickups?

Thanks!

With a body lift I would think it would be an issue with the column steering shaft to the steering gear box, but that could be overcome. The fan wouldn't center in the radiator shroud if you have one. Lower hose might be an issue. Nothing can't be over come though.
Suspension wise I would try 3/4 ton springs.
Oh look at this thread (except fabtech parts arent available anymore I hear) - http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...os+long+travel
Since the 63-66 crossmemeber is roughly the same as the 73-87, take a look at this thread:
Post #18 has some great pictures of the front suspension and Post #43 has a spreadsheet of all the parts he used:

Taller tires and wheels? I put 17" wheels and 31" tires on it and it raised my truck about 3". But I also replaced all the worn out springs all around on it too so that likely got rid of spring sag.
