Looking to purchase a NICE set of 1972 DG4 Stainless mirrors for my K20 Restoration.

Getting rid of the Camper Mirrors in photo.

Still looking for the 1972 DG4 Mirrors.

Im in a bit of a pickle as the bodyshop is ready to paint the truck, and would prefer to drill the holes prior to paint.


Had a couple of guys reach out that they might be able to help, but no dice as of today.


I was able to look over the camper mirrors (for sale or trade if anyone is interested)

Both chrome elbows have flaking chrome. One mirror has a crack in the glass that is mostly covered by the small round convex mirror on bottom corner. The other mirror is in excellent shape. Nice stainless, and nice glass.

The stainless tri-pod mounts on both are perfect.

Scooter, I'm working on getting the frozen 4' snow drift from in front of my storage box to get these mirrors out. Ya gotta love winter.

I am usually not in such a hurry for crap like this, but I didn't anticipate the bodyshop being ready to paint the truck so soon. Just got another text this morning... "you got those mirrors yet?" lol

and yeah, I'm already over winter myself... Bring on spring!

I’ve got a set of ’72 painted white mirror less brackets. They are not for sale but if you’d like to borrow them to get the truck ready for paint I could box them up & ship out tomorrow. PM me a cell or email and I’ll get you pictures

Would consider the white painted version (D29, I believe) as well if in excellent condition.

Still looking for a nice set of these mirrors! Would still prefer Stainless Steel, but at this point, if a nice set of Painted WHITE '72 mirrors showed up, I would be interested in those as well.... Please let me know..


Also, I want to give a public THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to Bgrdmoose for borrowing me his mirrors which allowed the bodyshop to drill the holes.

I don't spend a lot of time on internet forums, but the few that I have always have the best people....

I have a good set of 1972 DG4s I would sell. I believe they are all original, the bottom bracket is in excellent shape. The elbow has minor surface rust, but is a reproduced part. Heads are probably 7/10 condition. I can post some pictures tomorrow

Here are some pics. One mirror has a light scratch on it’l and a very minor indention (right one in photo) One mirror has a stick on bubble mirror that I have not attempted to remove. Glass has some very minor scratch on it but I would consider these to be on the high end of original quality. I think the photos capture the actual condition pretty well.
