Original tach cluster

Hello. I got this tach cluster and bezel with a bundle of other parts.

It was from a restoration shop that completely restored a customer’s K5 Blazer.

The owner of the shop was allowed to keep some of the old parts that were going to be replaced. He told me that the parts were all original to the truck. The SPID was not available to me, as the truck had been gone from the shop for some time.

How can I tell if this is an original tach cluster?

I’d like to sell it, so I’d also like to know what it’s worth if it’s original, or what it’s worth if it’s a cluster with a tach added.

Thanks for any help. Vinnie

Re: Original tach cluster

Also. The overall tach looks too clean to me to be original. So what would it be worth if it’s a repop? Thanks again

Re: Original tach cluster

I meant the overall cluster set up. Not just the tach

Re: Original tach cluster

It’s stamped 8cyl, I don’t think the reproduction tachs are. The circuit board is original. I’d have to say the whole cluster is original, or at least built with original parts. The lower hole on the right side is for a manual throttle. $250-$300 imo.

Re: Original tach cluster

That looks VERY clean! I would try to get $450 and wouldn't be in any hurry to sell
