LS coil packs
I run a 5.3 Vortec in my 64 C10 and want to know if I can run LS3 coil packs instead of the stock ones.
I wanted to buy a set of the Holley valve covers that hide the coil packs but my coil packs will not work with them. Anyone got a clue?

Re: LS coil packs
As long as the harness side plugs are the same (I believe they should be, but not 100% certain) they should just be plug and play. Depending how far back your engine is sitting you may have clearance issues on the passenger rear corner though.

This set of harnesses have the correct coil terminals for the coils. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BBGQ8QSW...roduct_details These are the coils that fit the holley valve covers. |

Re: LS coil packs
I had to modify the mounts on my edelbrock coil cover to accept ls2 coils, the ones I have were designed for ls1 coils….
Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of the actual coils, this is the cover however…. |
