68C30 with LQ4
Finally was able to pull it outside under its own power. Still several things to finish up. Next thing is exhaust.

This is great. Love the hydroboost swap too. Hope you are going to put it to work.
Looks like a hydraulic clutch? 4 speed? |

Re: 68C30 with LQ4
Thanks we still use the truck for hauling. It has a pto driven dump bed so I needed to keep the 4 speed. I did install a hydraulic clutch.

Re: 68C30 with LQ4
Got to like a LS swap. I'm a big LS swap fan.
Just a thought on the intake tube. Pic of my LS swapped 98 Wrangler. I did the swap about 15-16 years ago and used a bit simpler GM truck air intake. Not saying you should a cone filter but as I understand the extra plastic tubing on your set up was for intake noise reduction. |

Re: 68C30 with LQ4
I still have the Wrangler. Its been a great hot rod and totally bullet proof. The pic above is the first version with a 4.8/AX15 combo. Worked well but I got tired of the stick. So pulled the 4.8 out and installed a LS6/4L60E combo.
It's my summer time mall crawler and winter plow Jeep. |
