Cool Truck Woes

I'm having a weird issue, I didn't run a neutral safety switch when wiring up the new harness. Truck constantly tries to start before I bump the key all the way to start it. New ignition switch (on steering column for key)
Truck is set to tdc so it should start up not sure what is going on, used starter fluid.
As always thanks in advance for your help! It is greatly appreciated.

'85 350/th350 hasn't ran since '19 I think

Re: Truck Woes

IIRC - the ignition switch has some adjustment at the base of the column.
Also could be the sector gear is a tooth off in the column.

Initial timing at TDC is a bit late. Might try 6~8 BTC. If you have fresh gas, shouldn't need start fluid. If the gas dates from 2019, could be the problem.
