cab leak

Chasing down a cab leak I have taken apart the cowl and found a lot of debris.

How would you guys address the rust in the cowl and reseal?

Here is what i dug out.

Re: cab leak

I am guessing that the passenger side & you have A/C take out the windshield, heater core, dash, seat, carpet, any all-plastic vent ducting to give you so room keep you from burning anything. Then take a look at the best way easiest way to get at it. If it is rusted out metal. If it is just the seam seal leaking, you just take out the windshield clean the old seam seal off and touch up pain any unpainted metal. Then re-seal it with new seam seal. when you have the windshield out check the windshield frame fix clean or paint and seal metal frame.
