Spindles
Hello all,
I got rid of my '65 back in 2019. Worst decision ever. But, I got me another truck, this time a '63. I have to get this thing some front discs ASAP. I've been doing a ton of research and my head is starting to spin from different threads, etc. Essentially, I want to buy the disc conversion from Summit. I plan to run drop spindles, but I came across a thread that stated the modular spindles were the way to go. Only 2" drop, and don't increase track width. Does anyone know if Summit sells this disc conversion with the modular spindles? Or at least could someone let me know the what the actual part number is for CPP modular spindles. Summit will say 2" in description but also 2.5" in the same description. And CPP's website isn't the greatest. Sorry for ignorance, but I have tried. :-) |

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=727826 Here is another way of going about it. I ordered all the parts from www.rockauto.com for a mid 70's truck and the tie rod sleeve from CPP. I later ordered 3" drop spindles from CPP. I used 3" drop springs in the rear.

Thanks, Chevy Fleetside.
Everyone can disregard my post. I think I got it figured out. |
