rear sway bar removal on a C4 flatout 55.1GMC-100

All,
On my build I have had to remove my rear sway bar in order to install my gas tank.
My builder says it should be ok and not cause me any issues and I am wondering what you all think about that?

Here's my build spec to date:
6.0L / 4L80e
C4 FlatOut IFS / IRS
55.1GMC-100

We would have to re-design a sway bar to work with the C4 vette rear end in my frame. Because of the hidden Hagan fuel door in the fender and the
position of my tank, I need to keep that in place.

Open to all thoughts and ideas, thanks in advance!

I think I would finish the build and see how it handles.
On the other hand there is a company out in CA that helped me with a custom front sway bar for my 67 Nova project.
They are Speed Engineering. They do mostly race car stuff. Maybe they could help?

Thats what I've been thinking!

If the sway bar is an issue with my driving style I will seek the help of a race car specialists!

With the fuel tank in place and my hidden fuel door in place I do not want to go backwards to save the sway bar at this stage of my build!

Thank you LS Short Box,

I'll put "Speed Engineering" of CA in my back pocket!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
