Look what followed me home...

It is a 71 Custom Camper W/AC. 350 / t350 Verry solid truck. Absolutly flawless doors and minor floor and kick panel rust. Wood bed that has a verry nice floor. To bad the sides have their issues. The canopy was a bummer though...LOL Anyone want it? It's a freebee... This cab might look pretty nice on my SWB 4X4.... Real nice tailgate also... Hmmmmm I could throw a couple of parts on it and make it a real nice driver... LOL Just what I need, another project.... LOL.. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Could be worse, that canopy doesn't have the green glass and like the one I saw cruising SoCal today...It was terrible...Looks like a good parts find for you though.

An e-bay seller would describe it as: Classic, rare, unique, heavly optioned, great truck needing some minor cleanup to be near show quality!

I tried to send it home, but it just keeps returning... LOL It must like me or something. I think that what I will do for now is to install a good fender on the driver's side, and swap a nice bed onto it. I can drive it around then untill I make my decision as to wether or not I want to part it or sell it. I do agree, it is nice enough to restore, but I keep thinking about air in my SWB 4X4. That would be nice also... Cat Fuzz, I don't get east of the mountains much, but you are more than welcome to come over here and get it... WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

Duh!! I just noticed you said UP THERE. It'd still be a really good one around here too though in the rust belt.

Well, probably won't be able to take it. You see, I live in Spokane, but I drive truck for Nabisco and that gets me as far west as Cle Elum every week. I really can't justify the $150 or so in gas it would cost me to drive my truck, then theres the fact that my truck hates sustained freeway speeds. I just figured that if you happened to be coming this way, I could haul it home in my work truck. No biggie though. I want a canopy, but even the nicest ones put me off. Bah, now I'm getting all wishy-washy.

Cat Fuzz, I need to go up to Issaqua sometime soon. I have a cab to pick up there. I can bring the canopy to someplace in Cle Elum if I had some place that I could drop it off at. I would have to have $40.00 for the delivery though. Let me know if you are interested. If not I will try to get rid of it localy. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com
