Makin interior purty with wood?

Hi all, along with the truck I love woodworking. Does anyone have any pics of interior wood pieces i.e. bezel, glovebox door, anything pretty much.
I dont want to go overboard for sure but would like to see what it looks like and get some ideas.

Thx Steve

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe burl wood veneer overlays for the bezel and glove box. I have yet to see anything like it though.

I was thinking about a nice contoured wooden console, meeting the dash in the middle and wrapping around behind bucket seats to cover the area where the tank was.

All you need to do is go to the hardware store and buy that stick on wood grain shelf liner. Stick it on trim the edges with a sharp knife and Viola! wood grained interior.

LOL well that is one way for sure but not quite what Im after. I wanna keep it stock appearing but I like the way wood looks in the older vehicles. Not something Im going to do right now but Im trying to get my ideas together.
My Uncle built this truck entirely of wood and I dont think I will do that either

I have done a lot of cabinet making in my past and have fooled around with cars since I was 10--I know it's a personal thing but I never was of the opinion that the two went together. I love a good red oak or cherry surface and I love a slick BC/CC color sanded paint job--just not both on a vehicle But, obviously a lot of people do--- Why not just build a nice wood console? Then you can easily take it out! Don't take this seriously--it's your truck..do what makes you happy!

BTW---note that the truck in my avatar has wood on it!

I know what you mean i dont like it when its to much. I am going to build a console for sure but I have considered an overhead console then I can either use wood, fabric or leather. I am looking for people that have done this and some of the pics to deceide for sure and yes i value everyones opinion and experience. I even remember seeing some vehicle that had the outside rim done in wood but I dont remember where and its not for me but it was different
Thx steve

Interior Door Panels

Back when I was on active duty, a Marine buddy custom made me some door panels out of 1/2" plywood. He traced the OEM metal panel and cut a wooden copy, then routed out some channels on the reverse sides for the door handle and window actions, and beveled the edges so they would fit under the upper retaining strip. We stained them a light walnut and spar varnished them. 29 years later, they still look good, especially after applying old english polish. They have acquired some "character" however.

I plan on making some wooden door panels as well as a wood console to match the wood I am putting on my flatbed. I just gotta figure out what color of wood looks best with orange and black
